5 Peace Band

I was never a big fan of Maclaughlin. I liked the exotic Indian roots of his music, but it was overwhelmed by his guitar-centric "riff rock" style. (He'd take one guitar riff and play it over and over and over and over and over. As a guitarist myself, he just drove me NUTS!)

This re-fusion of "5 Peace Band" knocked me out. For me, 2 minutes of Maclaughlin's riff-rock was too long. Yet here, 10 minutes plus of the same music is too short. Mesmerizing.
