While Ruby's style is not my cup of tea I still found this video very enjoyable. Man can he play at a very high level. So many trumpet players offer nothing to me musically. Many are sloppy and just don't offer enough musically. It's hard for me to go much beyond Miles, Chet,Blue, Art and Freddie. There are a couple of pretty good trumpet players locally but many just can't cut it. Good post. Made me stretch my ears a bit. T456
