I've been wondering the very same thing about the Cleveland Orchestra...... Aside from an occasional DVD of a Bruckner symphony........
Franz Welser Most and Cleveland did put out a Beethoven Nine and Wagner on CD..... Won't comment much further......
To be honest, I've yet to encounter a commercially released recording under Franz Welser Most with Cleveland that I thought was worth buying...... Maybe the cold reviews of his few releases have discouraged him releasing new material.....
I look forward to the day Cleveland gets a new music director. I just think Franz Welser Most has been a disaster.
