Phew... Skinny Puppy, Laibach, Kovenant, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, A Split Second, The Neon Judgement, etc. playing now, inducing a state of depression and schizophrenia- temporary I hope. What a hurt-wrench for the ears!
Bear occasionally encounters surprise loads of music as he prowls the seamy L.A. underbelly trolling for turntables... Some are delightful, some less so. Here was a stack of CD's made as "mixtapes" apparently in the mid 90's to early 'aughts by person or persons unknown. The CD's came out of a dirty box in the back of a studio that Bearette was compelled to clean out. I like to broaden my musical horizons but there is a limit; I reached it with Laibach's cover of the entire Beatles "Let It Be" album sung in a mock-operatic style with tormented industrial noises in the background. Nope- can;t go there!
I recommend this to 15-year old kids to torment your parents with.
