I have a Columbia 2-eye of Walter's reading that I bought some 50 years ago (when it was the 4th) and have enjoyed countless times. I have others, including Szell on Columbia and Epic. The Walter is the one I come back to.
Columbia's recordings of Walter's west coast orchestra were uneven, but I find this one a masterpiece in every respect.
I am going to go listen to it again now. Good night!
