Svetlanov in Moscow 1995 CDs

I don't know that I have listened to the first critically, but his recording of the second is a favorite recording of a work I don't need to hear that often. He does capture a Rachmaninoff sound. I am more sensitive to that sound in Rach piano music. I feel the same way about Brahms, there is a special sound or character and a performer has that touch or not.
