I still think it's a great performance, and, like Tom, I now have the JVC XRCD-24 incarnation:Unlike you however, I'm a big admirer of the Harnoncourt RCOA version - it may have something to do with its 24/96 multi-channel incarnation, but I also found the performance to be surprisingly sharp and alert, with a lot of energy:
I just got Pesek's complete set last month (I had some of the individual symphonies for years), and I share your enthusiasm for it, although I like the ones with the CzPO better than those with the RLPO:
Looks like one of the Amazon resellers is practically giving this set away now (7 CD's for $9.43 plus shipping) - these are excellent performances overall, and they're a great way to get to know the earlier symphonies if you don't know them already.
My favorite Dvorak Sevenths are the Dorati (tremendous weight and depth) and Giulini/LPO (very passionate and songful, despite a couple of ensemble infelicities) recordings. The seventh is certainly Dvorak's greatest symphony!
