I lived very close to the main Tower Records in SF for many years--right up to when it closed for good in 2006, I believe--and used to visit it and its Classical Annex practically daily, often staying until closing time (midnight--it wasn't open for 24 hrs). Just loved hanging around there, and got to know the clerks and many of the regular customers pretty well, often helping them out as though I worked there. Those were the days! I miss it terribly.
