Rolling Stones - Blue and Lonesome

I just received the March edition of Stereophile in which they reviewed this CD. They actually rated the sonics 5 out of 5 stars. I am sorry but in my opinion this disc is far from what I would consider top tier in terms of sonics (quality of recording). To me 5 stars should place a CD amongst the best recorded CDs that I have (I don't have it on vinyl and the review is based on the CD version), perhaps not a 'reference recording' but certainly approaching that level.

Is it just me or do others expect the same?
