Glad you made it too and fro safely. Interesting venue for a high profile soloist. My wife and daughters were supposed to travel to Carmel on Sunday, but I advised against it. They're going this Thursday instead, when we hope to be high and dry, albeit temporarily.
Sounds like a good experience. I attended a concert a couple of months ago at the Oakland Paramount of a performance by Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, conducted by Dudamel. Fascinating concert with such a diverse crowd of ages and ethnicities. Was a great experience. More music for the masses is what we need, even in Watsonville. Score any artichokes or strawberries?
