H v K 1965. A truly wonderful performance superbly recorded and mastered (if you are lucky enough to have a copy of the original vinyl record).
Désiré-Emile Inghelbrecht. An historic recording of its era (mono), latterly available on Denon. By one of Debussy's friends and associates (and founder of L'Orchestre National de France). Basically the benchmark in the French tradition.
O.K. Haitink ( again vinyl preferred, though the CD was part of a bargain twofer, at least here in the UK) and Toscanini as already mentioned of course. NB: I see that RCA are putting out a Toscanini box set this month and the transfer may perhaps be better than the circa late 1980's that I have.
