Try also the Varese and the Crumb recordings on Nonesuch vinyl. And so many others. Their sonics and pressings were outstanding. The domestic sourced recordings were the best but there were also very many excellent recordings sourced from abroad. And at times you could get them for about $2 new. Worth looking for in the used bins. There is an arguably better analog recording of the Weill on Reference Records, but the performance is no match IMO.
Unfortunately the original (non-discrete "matrix" quad) Ravel pressings on Vox were not very good.
Interesting that you would have the discrete quad (RCA system) disk.
