Wow, that's a mouthful, and I don't even know what it means. All I know is that my Philosophy I professor in college made a huge deal out of the Platonic ideal, which for a relationship was a gay teacher-student relationship.
I have known a couple of transgender folks, where I knew them before and after the change, which trust me, is strange. I only know this, that for them this change was vital to their lives. Nowadays we make reality shows about it (I am boycotting everything to do with Caitlyn Jenner, because I cannot stand the reality show stuff), but it was a pretty big deal with Walter became Wendy.
