The owner of Chicago Jazz Record Mart once told me Garner's long time manager Marttha Glaser won't release the tape to anyone when I asked him why there are so little Garner's reissues. ( this was before she passed away so now Glaser's estate is more open to letting the catalogue being reissued )

I will hold out for a reissue ( altho, my past Sony reissue experience has been horrendous ) vinyl and certainly don't expect miracles considering the original source is a bootleg tape off a live concert.

I almost have all of his record except the older Blue Notes and 78s. He's one of my favourite piano player of all time.
