Is it possible that "Musical Icons" are making decisions to start "artistic
projects" as favors to former record label affiliations ? Another possibility came to mind. They may even own a percentage of the label
that are releasing these "Duo Projects"

When I think about it the second scenario sounds more likely. Tony
has been making these Duo Projects so long now ,it's really not
surprising anymore who he's doing a new project w/ as it once was when he
started.

I like Tony, but I'll stick w/ Tony's albums that display his talents (& those such as Bill Evans,etc). You just wish it wasn't that "big of a deal" for Music Icons to stay "current" (as the musical value of "current has degenerated to "Good Enough")

Is it possible people are being born with seriously deficient "musical taste buds" or "Good Enough musical taste buds" ?
