Hot and cold for me - I like Escales and that little flute and guitar piece that was on the Laurindo Almeida "Duets with the Spanish Guitar" recording on Capitol. The Flute Concerto (the reduction of which I've played a lot) not so much. There's a lot by Ibert I haven't heard, including the disc you showed in your post.
