When I first heard Ozawa, I thought he was fiery and exciting...I think it was Beethoven 5 too many years back to really be sure (I may have had hair then). He is smashed into little doggie pellets here at the Lane, and a few moments I heard on PBS within memory left me cold...what happened to him? Did he eat fugu and get the liver? Or is it that he was given star status too soon and his head became too big to fit a TV screen? Perhaps with the advent of HDTV (wide screen) he will become palatable?
