One quick note, I know I'm always pumping these guys up around here, but the new Galactic isn't all that sweet. It is good, but the guitar player tries to take front stage and get gritty which adds more of a rock demention than funk/jazz. I've never been a huge fan of the guitarist- I did feel he is great at playing nice backgrouind chords (check out Crazyhorse Mongoose- better yet see them live) but now that he plays w/ both fingers he feels that its time to solo which to me did nothing. Amazing talent, good disc whereas that other 2 were much better. I happened to pick up one of those not for sale copies at Amoeba 3 weeks ago and have been listening to a ton of other stuff since w. sporadic playing of the new disc.
