I've got one of those box sets, and it was obviously played a good bit, at least the 5th anyway. I've had to get that on CD so I could enjoy that piece. Probably not heard half of the records in this set. I inherited it last year along with the Reader's Digest 10 box set called The Story of Great Music. Each set has 4 lp's. Most are in great to what looks like mint condition and most sound good, nothing fantatsic (so far), but great for just checking things out. I've made it a point to start listening these 40 records as my intro to classical. Just finishing The Baroque Era and think The Spanish Style will be next. I remember playing a side or two of it once and liking it.They sure made a first class product back then with the heavy duty box and informative booklets and program guides.
