IME, the Stones stuff from that period is all well below par sonically. The best sound will come from original UK pressings (mostly unboxed Deccas on the early stuff). I recommend you pick up a UK record price book that will help you figure out how to identify original pressings. They're not cheap but they blow away ANY cd and are far superior to US pressings. By the "Sticky Fingers" album however, the boys were recording in the States and the US pressing is most likely the one to use the original master tape. None of it however, is audiophile fodder.Good luck
