Looks like I'll at least have to get the Saint-Saens. I'll be downloading the stereo-only hi-res version, so it should take a lot less than 5 hours! BTW, downloads from The Classical Shop have ALWAYS been slow for me as well (even when downloading via my office LAN--ssshhh--don't tell anyone!); Channel and eClassical (to name 2 other European sites) are much faster.
