Won the 1963 Pulitzer. It's the most recent winner that gets played with any frequency. Appalachian Spring definitely takes the prize for most-performed Pulitzer winner, and nothing else comes close by a long shot.
I don't think this necessarily reflects poor taste on the part of the judges. Not much contemporary classical music gets more than a few performances.
