Why do you insist on pursuing how "I" view this music. I am not parading anything. What is "thoughtful" for one person is'nt necessarily for another person . How on earth did you come to the conclusion that I was attempting to do anything other than explain my view. If how I rationalize how "I" feel about something is'nt valid for you, that is perfectly fine by me. I don't understand the compulsion to diminish what I've had to say. I'm really not trying to start a cult movement of any sort. This will be the last I plan to discuss this as I don't think we're on the same page. Give it a rest,mate. It's really counterproductive trying to explain to me the errors of my rationalizations for one very simple reason, they are my rationalizations. I never raised the "I'm right" flag at any point. I'm not nearly as cynical of the 20th century as you seem to be, much of the great music that has been written this century,has been inspired by the state of the human condition & all it's complexities be they of a positive or negative nature. I for one am glad the plague is'nt the concern it once was.
