I was poking around eBay and found a first-pressing LP copy of Bob Ludwig's JMR cutting of Arturo Delmoni's "Songs My Mother Taught Me" that turns out to be the very early (from the first box, I would think) copy I personally inscribed to recording engineer David Hancock.
I of course knew that David had died some years back, but it now seems that his stuff has been sold off.
At the moment, it's for not-crazy money for this very rare and well-regarded LP; perhaps the fact that it is listed as "Songs My Father Taught Me" has something to do with that.
In any event, I am not going to bid, but someone else might want to.
