Are there any 'bootleg' download sites that offer high bitrate/high sound quality downloads? I realize that the quality of any download is dependent upon the quality of the original source material.

I'm interested in downloading rock, alternative/indie rock, americana.

PS.. I am not advocating piracy, I believe there is a legal difference between piracy and 'downloading' based upon who holds the rights to the music and whether approval for downloading has been given.
