I'm not a big fan of "traditional" styled "jazz" guitar playing, but Herb Ellis knocked me out more than a few times, and his playing on this LP is sublime.

He had a particular blithe spirit that inhabited his playing and made it seem effortless.

Hope he's swingin' and jammin' and have a good time whever he's at.
