RE: Agreed -- great CD, even with early digital sound

Back in 1976-77 (based on the apartment I was living in at the time) I bought an Odyssey LP of Jean-Pierre Rampal (?) playing Telemann's works for solo flute. I had a decent stereo for a student - Pioneer/Large Advent - but when I put that LP on for the first moments I actually believed what I was hearing was a live flute through the window.

The LP was licensed from Denon and it was a digital recording.
