Hey Biff,I think Linda's father was either a big band musician or really loved the stuff. She made three albums with Nelson Riddle and his orchestra...just before he passed away. I call them the torch trilogy..... you know..... torch songs. All are "standards" like "Skylark", "Someone to watch over me", sophisticated Lady", "My old flame", "Bewitched, bothered, and bewildered", " 'Round midnight", "When you wish upon a star", etc.
The albums are called "What's New", "For sentimental Reasons", and "Lush Life". They are available both singly or in a 3 CD set. Don't know availability of LP's. They get played around this house a lot.
