I would like to make clear that I seek not to disparage Solti's body of work; just that I find it to be a bit wrong-headed, for my taste. Any---repeat, any---musician's point of view is more cogent than mine. Simply, as a listener, I have my various prejudices...that's all. Solti's Ring will survive my criticism, certianly. As to his other work, well...
