The Albany Symphony Orchestra has a series of recordings - most are SACDs - of 20th century American music, mostly lesser known, in outstanding sound. Gould's somewhat well-known 3rd Symphony is paired with the virtually unknown 2nd Symphony of Roy Harris. Other recordings include music of Peter Mennin, Virgil Thompson, and British composer George Lloyd.
