It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Looked at this delightful Virgin Classics DVD with friends last night. A live production with the singers less to the microphoning area than the orchestra at times resulting in some lack of balance, but this was soon forgotten because of the excellent artistry of the beautiful Anna and clownish acting of Rolando. He was a bit in the role of "Mr Bean" with his oafish portayal of Nemorino.

The whole cast obviously were having a ball in this production and this was infectious. Apart from a little imbalance between singers and orchestra, the audio quality is first class on this DVD.

An opera to be enjoyed by all for its singing, melodies and humour. Thoroughly recommended,
