hey all:
This is a real shot in the dark, but about 1983 I heard a singer in a bar in New Haven sing a folk tune about the widow of a soldier killed in Vietnam that has always haunted me. What with conditions today, I really feel like hearing it again.
The only lyric I remember clearly is the chorus:
"I have three baby daughters, thank God I have no sons"
