Track 7 was recorded live a year and 1/2 ago. The others are more recent. They just put this CD out recently. Donald Brown took over the jazz program at U. of Tennessee when James Williams came up here to run the William Paterson U. jazz program. The Memphis Piano Mafia connection. You can't have a family and make it financially by just playing gigs. The college deal is a good one and you can still play gigs. I got the CD in the mail a few weeks ago which was a very nice surprise. Some good players associated with that orchestra and the U.T. jazz department.bgs
