Two Composers to add to your list,Moeran and Bax.
E Moeran is I feel the most interesting of the lesser known British Composers,he wrote a stunning Violin Concerto, plus a Symphony,Cello Sonata, and Concerto are favorite works of mine.
His Work is well represented on the Lyritta label on Vinyl, and I notice it is at this time being released on CD.Get that Violin Concerto!
Also a Book from the 60s to look out for-The English Musical Renaissance by Frank Howes.Regards LPH.
