I had though of CS much earlier but had never heard him play that fast. I saw him way back in the 50's as a guest trumpet player with Boyd Raeburn's band at the Paramount in NYC so I knew he had the chops to play high. Is the logo for Verve a trumpet player? Well, that's from a photo of the cat. When I was able to focus on the rhythm I got OM and NCK connection. It was weird but I still don't know the drummer.Just some dumb luck.
