I agree, both Gramophone and Classics Today have useful information so long as you don't take every last comment as unimpeachable truth. I mentioned several weeks ago that David Hurwitz has some strong biases, but he wears them on his sleeve, so you can take them into account if you don't share them. One of those biases is in favor of composers or performers he feels are under appreciated or under publicized. Alas, that one got him into a bit of trouble a couple of weeks ago.:-)
