I had no idea the great film scorer Basil Poledouris had passed away fairly recently in November. Just read about it while 'surfing'. Coincidentally, I was watching 'The Hunt For Red October' last night on my new DLP TV.He was truly one of the best scorers with his emotional and beautiful sweeping themes!
