sure do. I might add that amongst his peers that kind of a general thought as well. Williams was a very good drummer that was discovered by Miles Davis. Having heard Cobb play a couple times, I'll be first to admit he's about as good as it can get. But I'm still gonna put Elvin Jones at the top of this very short list. And if you like Elvin Jones, then your probably gonna like Brian Blade. Somewhere in there you might want to listen to Lewis Nash as well.
And slightly off this same subject, I might add that when it comes to working the brass, there's nobody better tha Steve Davis. This is one thing that Cobb was noted for, but Davis is a light year ahead of him.
