I've had quite the opposite experience, especially with that album. Could you point me to the specific sections where you heard the drops/static/pops/clicks; I would like to see if I can experience the same for myself.I did like their Flamenco and Ras Mek Peace albums a fair bit more though. Thanks for your post, now I am curious.
Also, from a sonic quality perspective what albums/labels do you hold in high regard? I am curious since I am looking for more labels to write about.
