I am curious----since tempos seem to be absolute to you, do you conduct? Play an instrument? Read music? My experience has been that tempo markings are extremely subjective. Note the contoversy over Beethoven's metronome marks among really learned musicians. The reality is that everyone has a different musical clock. I suppose Klemperer (late) would also be on your bad list. And Bruno Walter, and late Bernstein, and, and. . .
