more specifically, I am looking for ballads featuring female vocalists. Soft, romantic, accordian and vocal driven.Love the ballads done in that style by Karyn Allyson ("From Paris To Rio") and the few on last year's Dee Dee Bridgewater French album.
Have had a hard time finding French singers, as the listening stations at the record stores rarely work.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
