To me its like learning wine...
Celine is in the sweet poppish world. Not to mention a little shrill on higher octaves - eventually you could try towards the "dryer " side. . Dont get me wrong she has a range . I personally dont like her overal sound. Just a taste thing
Aside from older Jazz females top vocalists ( which are my references and fav)
I suggest you try Jackie Allen current Wisconsin Chicago area- excellent voice; a voice teacher; great phrasing and a great recording as far as Redbook goes..She does standards as well as her own interpretations
