We discovered Monty Alexander on New Year's Eve in 1987! On our 3rd date, my (now) wife and I booked a table at a little club for jazz and a dinner with champagne at midnight. Y'know, one of those packaged deals. Lemme tell you that the music was marvelous, the evening stupendous and it's been great ever since. Every new Monty Alexander disc (and I get all the Telarc SACDs) is delightful but the associations make it even more enjoyable.Kal
