I have one recording of Mozart piano concertos by him that seems okay. Nothing that grabs my ear, but that may be because I'm not familiar with the 14th and 16th concertos on the album. However, I like what I've heard of Leonard Slatkin's work. This after having to get over a prejudice about his father, Felix. Probably my own silliness, but I could never take the elder Slatkin's Hollywood Bowl stuff seriously. The son is different to my ear. I don't find many of the big name conductors all that interesting these days. Are they like so much of the world today? Primarily mediocrity and hype. I usually find recordings by lesser-known groups and conductors more interesting and often better recorded.
I generally defer to the more august members of Music Lane on matters symphonic, but since it didn't cost me anything, I decided to pipe up.
