"Listening to Keith Jarrett with Misofonia," an essay by JoshT

It'd be a short essay that ends with lifting the tone arm, taking the record off the platter, and tossing it out the window.

Digital filters are so sophisticated these days. Surely someone from MIT who loves his music but has Misofonia can develop an algorithm to filter out the incessant whine.

Disclaimer: I like a lot of Jarrett's work, but I couldn't get through the first LP of Still Live just now. His neurodivergence and mine seem incompatible. ;-)

"If you are the owner of a new stereophonic system, this record will play with even more brilliant true-to-life fidelity. In short, you can purchase this record with no fear of its becoming obsolete in the future."
