Sure, shitty year so it wouldn't take a lot to make any aspect of it better.
Monk Palo Alto though rises it up considerably.
Standard set of the perennial goodies, the band is obviously feeling good
and the sound is MUCH better than I expected. Damn good in fact.
I bought the CD. Fine packaging, great notes and a helluva story in how this came about.
A new Monk live recording is cause for celebration and one of this caliber
at this time is really nothing short of a Blessing.
