Today's hip tunes. New music that isn't Classic Rock or Jazz!

Re: Sophie

Sophie Barker of Zero 7 sings on three tracks of the Music For Dreams release of Quiet Letters. One of them, Breathe, is not on the US release.

Checking the credits I noticed for the first time that Banzai Republic worked on Quiet Letters. Their release on the Music For Dreams label called Where The Fun Starts Early In The Day is one of my all time favorites. Run, don't walk to pick that one up if you don't have it.

Since I can't get off the Music For Dreams label thing, another to check out is Free-Soil Sounds of Moonage 1996-2000 by Calm, a Japanese group somewhat reminiscent of Caia, but more jazz influenced.
