As to the sound...
The first album (Felt Mountain) had a bit of a downtempo almost cabaret kind of feel to it.
The second album (Black Cherry) is quite a departure from the first album. It's full on electro in my opinion!
The third is more of the same. At least from what I can tell from the samples.
She has a double DVD available state side as well.
IMO, she can really sing. She isn't some techno wanna be diva.

P.S. As to the new Royksopp. It's quite a a departure from the first album. My favorite tracks on the album are "Triumphant" and "49 percent". Id on't know what it is about "49 percent". That R&B sound they've got going on that track works wonderfully.
