I remember as a little tike, - well, - when I was in my late teens. :-)Having to get releases from Gemm Imports or from my cousins in England as Brit bands that were also signed to US sister labels didn't have their releases available for 6 months after they were already dead or hits in the UK.
Annoying.
Seems like lately, the releases are coming closer together. Like the new Sigur Ros CD is scheduled to be released only a day earlier in the UK.
What's GoldFrapp like? Never heard them. Can you please provide a link to the Hi-Res copy that you have on order?
BTW: Did you ever post your thoughts on the new Royksopp? I like it a lot better than their first.Thanks,
