Today's hip tunes. New music that isn't Classic Rock or Jazz!

Special... very special

At times meditative – quiet, gentle, and subtly shifting; at other times more “rhapsodic” – weightier and more dynamic; at all times both mentally and emotionally involving. For example, at one point I was so involved that as the music began to shift, I felt real anxiety – I wanted it to continue as it was, yet was very much open to where the music would take me. Strange.

It was a truly special experience for me. A few others however, seemingly those expecting something more “jazz”-like, were left a little dissatisfied.

It is worth mentioning the quality of the sound: the best of any amplified gig I have ever attended. None of negative sound I have come to expect, just a relatively organic sound that contributed to the perceived quality of the performance. The Judith Wright Centre seems a good venue.

Sorry you could not be there... but some time in Noosa must have pleasant. How was the festival?

Cheers, Raymond
